TESTIMONIALS

We were incredibly excited to bring an event such as Audible for Autism to Widener. The ability to positively impact the lives of others is a large part of who we are as a university and we are proud to have worked with community leaders to make this day a reality.

We couldn’t have been prouder of everyone involved with Audible for Autism on Saturday. The organizers were on top of their game and made a meaningful impact to create awareness for a condition that impacts the lives of so many families. Our staff and players were honored to be a part of the event!

Victoria had the time of her life! She carried her trophy for days, She even took it to church with her. I know she will remember her touchdown for the rest of her life.

Sammy is non-verbal so he cannot speak or show expression, but through his body language he was smiling brighter than we have seen in a long time.

I just wanted to say Thank you for choosing Austin to participate in this spectacular event!! Austin left there feeling like a superstar and he couldn’t stop smiling for days. It has definitely changed him he is more confident, and so much more social at school and at home. His teacher can’t believe the change in him . Audible for Autism is a great organization keep doing these touchdown runs for these children because it really makes a difference in their lives Thank you Audible For Autism for giving Austin this opportunity and making his world that much brighter!

Aidan is also a total different boy . He had to take his trophy and wear his jersey to school the next day. He also shows everyone the pictures and says this is my new friend Austin. This is such a great memory they will always remember.

What an opportunity for a child on the spectrum to get to experience a once in a lifetime event! We have attempted numerous times over the years to get Ryan involved in sports but have not had positive outcomes, unfortunately. In the past, Ryan’s social and emotional challenges have prevented him from working successfully as part of a team and seeing the benefit of being coached. With the experiences he has had with Audible for Autism, Ryan’s self confidence has increased greatly, and he has been able to accept instruction without any conflict. He has also reached out of his comfort zone to provide encouragement to others on the spectrum during the Audible for Autism events.

Ryan is looking forward to “passing the ball” to someone else and having the chance to provide guidance and support during this experience. Thank you, Scott, Muzz, and everyone else at Audible for Autism for having the vision to see that this organization was needed to make a difference in the lives of some very special kids who wouldn’t typically have this opportunity.

As a Father, it is hard to express how much Audible for Autism has meant to my family. This incredible program provided Julian, a once in a lifetime experience, to enjoy football in a way that was both memorable and remarkable. We were truly proud watching him sprint down the sidelines into the end zone for a touchdown. Thank you Audible for Autism for allowing my family to participate in this unique program and for creating a cherished family memory and experience.
